Responsible Manufacturing

RESPONSIBLE

Sustainability is no longer limited to the enterprise itself, but should also be expanded to the supply chain, to work with upstream and downstream business partners in creating shared value and bring about positive changes to the society. ASUS includs the sustainability performance of the suppliers as an evaluation item for procurement. We became a full member of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) to ensure that supply chain processes comply with environmental standards, ensure labor safety and human rights across the workplace , and extend information security management to the supply chain to increase its resilience.

2025 Sustainability Goals

100 %

Achieve labor and human rights goals by following RBA Code of Conduct to complete 100% third-party audits of key suppliers and ensuring any necessary corrective actions are taken

100 %

Use responsible minerals by sourcing 100% of tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold, and cobalt from qualified smelters

100 %

Strengthen information security across the supply chain by ensuring that key suppliers demonstrate 100% compliance with information security regulations

Key Action

ASUS Supplier Code of Conduct

ASUS is a full member of the Responsible Business Alliance. By becoming a member of this leading international organization, we have established a responsible and transparent supply chain management framework that requires suppliers to have a safe working environment, no forced labor or child labor, respect and protection for employees, avoidance of environmental degradation and compliance with business ethics. We audit our key suppliers annually to ensure they follow the management framework, so users can be rest-assured that they are supporting a socially responsible and ethical company.

Responsible Mineral Procurement

We use Full Material Disclosure (FMD) to learn about the composition of ASUS products, and source “conflict materials” - tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold – from 100% qualified smelters to minimize the risk of illegal mining.

Sustainable Procurement

We considered not only traditional factors such as the quality, delivery schedule, cost, and services in ASUS‘s supply chain management, but have also included the suppliers’ sustainability performances as important management indicators. Our sustainable procurement process passed SGS ISO 20400 standards and obtained the world‘s first ISO 20400 certification.

Environmental P&L Assessment

We were the first technology company to launch the environmental profit and loss assessment report so that our stakeholders can better understand the what impact our supply chain has on the environment, where the hot spots of impact are, and how ASUS minimizes impact to the earth.

Supplier Partnerships

We organize conferences and training for suppliers on a regular basis to convey our management requirements and strengthen the partnership with the supply chain.
